Concerned about staying healthy after your tattoo?  You are in the right place.

What is Hepatitis?

Hepatitis is an infection that causes inflammation or irritation of the liver. There are different types of hepatitis infections, the most common being A, B, and C. These infectious diseases spread easily and in different ways, including by obtaining tattoos with un-sterilized equipment including un-sterilized tattoo machines.

Hepatitis should not be taken lightly, this is a very serious disease. If left untreated hepatitis might affect the liver in a serious manner. Since the liver filters all foods, drinks, and substances that enter the body, it should receive special attention.

3.9 million people in the USA suffer and many die each year from complications of hepatitis.

Pam Anderson freely admits she caught Hepatitis in the process of getting a tattoo.  Do you imagine she went to a ghetto studio or an up-scale one?

Even what looks like a clean regulated by the state health dept. studio could be the carrier of an hepatitis outbreak.

Read the links to the left to learn how to protect yourself from getting sick.
