Why the name Guns 2 Roses and what does it mean?
Good question, and one that we get many times a month. 
Guns 2 Roses is a play on words meaning several things all at once.  First of all, Guns is a slang word in the industry meaning tattoo machine.  Roses is the most popular tattoo people request over the past 100 years or so.  So Guns 2 Roses, get it?  Also, Gary was licensed and registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms as a Class 2 firearms dealer.  When Gary decided to start a body arts business and give up being an arms dealer, it was a natural transition to call that move "Guns 2 Roses". Get it?  A possible third meaning and the one that makes our name sound like something you have heard spoken a billion times, is our name sounds like a very famous defunct rock & roll group from the 80's.
So there you have it.  Our name is designed to be remembered by all, tell where we have been and where we are going.
