Shown above is two different competitions in a series of events that lasted over a three day weekend. The right photo above shows one of the most famous tattoo artists of all time, Lyle Tuttle as Center Judge. In that photo we also see the "man" himself facing us in the background, Mario Barth. In another event that day we see Gary Mayo (above left and below) also as Center Judge. Gary was a judge of two important events for Mario, best tribal and best portrait. Mario Barth does not just hand out Judging responsibilities to just anyone.
Lets look at why Gary earned a spotlight as a Judge along side the likes of Lyle Tuttle,
As well as being an invited artist at the Worlds Largest Tattoo Convention by Mario Barth.
