After taking Sunday off to rest up from one day of work (and my two week vacation) it

was back to work today.  Looking over the pics I did from the past months, I came across

this lovely enchantress.  Isn't that one of the best looking faces you have ever seen?

I think so. She thought it was time for a new piercing.

We love seeing our customers come to revisit us!

The store today was packed again, but as the day came close to midnight (I opened up at 7:30 am)

the customers slowed down enough to squeeze in a group shot.

Tomorrow I will most likely work a few less hours as I just got back from vacation and

I feel like I need another one already.  lol

4-19-08 First day back and we were swamped with more business than we could do.

Hundreds of customers served and it is my constant daily desire that everyone feels

special.  Really.  When I can no longer do that simple goal with a smile on my face, I quit!

So far, eight years into this, I have the best job on the planet, and the best customers!

Back From Vacation!

Life on the road is fun, but it is good to be back in the shop!

On vacation we saw my wife's parents, my wife's sister and a billion miles of road.

While driving our motor home down the highway at excessive speeds, I came across

many things I wished to photograph.  Did I stop?  Did I slow down? Sometimes!

These images were taken at 75MPH while I was driving in Missouri.

I took some pics, Karen took many of them.  Her style of shooting is much different than mine,

so sometimes I just wanted to do it myself!  OK I did let the bird do some driving. 

While out and about we added to our Macaw collection.

Macon Missouri has an exotic animal auction 4 times a year and it is one of the largest in the world.

A female Blue & Gold caught my eye and I & waved my finger and made her mine.

4-4-08 Babes Get Work!

OK, the work they got was pierced, and come to think of it, it did not seem like work.  It was like ice-cream on Xmas!

Sasha, Kaila and their personal assistant Biz

came in and got pierced.  What did Biz do?  Look pretty of course!

This one is pretty good at posing.  Want a carier in front of the camera?  We'll see what we can do!

So it gets packed up, sent back to Nikon for repair!

My friends kimmy, Tabbetha, & Kari came in tonight to get their

pictures taken and get their noses pierced.

3-20-08 Duty Calling

The phone rang and it was a Lt. with the Nebraska National Guard.  He extended an invatation for me to come out and shoot at his helicopters and his men. 

Not Guns silly, with my camera gear.   He knew I am a photographer from seeing me taking pictures last year at a military exercise and he invited me back again this year!  Because I was an invited photographer, I walked right out to the airships and acted like one of the guys.  They had guns and I had glass.  How exciting!  These are big airships! Powerful! 

I choose my background carefully so it looks like we were in a far away land under war.  It was really at State Far Park right here in Lincoln Ne!

Please end this war and bring out guys/gals home.  Send the polititions over to fight the wars!  Thanks Guys!
