Born:

    1956, Council Bluffs Iowa.  No siblings, Married once, still happily married 27 years, no children. Pets: Macaws, cats, koi.

In 1968 Gary was involved in a train accident which placed him in a hospital bed 14 weeks.  In that time, he was given injections and IVs more than 1,300 times.  It was during this period, he learned the art of piercing skin.  Later as owner of a body arts studio, he perfected his talent in over 35,000 skin procedures on his thousands of clients.

Education:

    Two Years Union College.  Major: Theology as it relates to Cults. 

Business Background:

    Owner of several businesses:  Advent Appliance, Beatrice Jewelry & Loan, Pawn Mart, 24 Hour Webmaster, Little King Subs, Guns 2 Roses.  Gary has owned many companies in Nebraska for over a 25 year period.  In all that time, not one single complaint at the BBB.

Guns 2 Roses:

    Gary had kept busy doing all the graphic arts for his many businesses over the years, but Gary was ready to start a business where the arts was the business.  After reading everything on Body Arts for two years, Gary opened Guns 2 Roses and hired artists to work in his studio.  Some ten years later and 35,000 plus procedures, Gary looks forward to the next ten years!

Public Speaker:

    On subjects of "Tattoo & Piercing Safety" and "The Dangers Of Cults".  Currently retained by the State Of Nebraska to lecture on the dangers of body arts in prisons.  Gary lectures to staff & inmates all across Nebraska.

Hobbies: Reading, Motorcycles, RVing, art creation, photography, watching movies, chess, feeding ducks & catfish day old bread.
